About the Role:
As the Social Media Manager, you will join the Wondermind Social team and be responsible for bringing the Wondermind social media channels (with a focus on short-form video!) to life with relatable and shareable content that sets trends and helps our audience not feel so alone.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for planning, executing, and scaling our organic social media channels
- You will play a key role in shaping Wondermind’s strategic online presence, increasing reach and engagement, and analyzing metrics to ensure social media efforts align with organizational goals, priorities, and strategies.
- This role reports to the Social Director and will help supervise a part-time Community Manager
- Manage social media editorial calendar and integrated marketing calendar for Wondermind and all associated planning processes to deliver business objectives
- Strong focus on short-form video strategies (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts)
- Work closely with the Community Manager to optimize social engagement and interactions to bring Wondermind to new audiences
- Partner with our content team in identifying and translating new trends into social content
- Own responsibility for all social channel activities including posting, channel optimization/updates, engagement, community management, and more (focus: TikTok, IG, YouTube)
- Work with the Social Director to help identify opportunities for strategic thinking and evolution to advance social channels and align with current-state best practices within each unique platform and environment
- Ability to leverage social listening and media monitoring to identify and activate trend forecasts
- Attend cross-functional brainstorming meetings between all teams including but not limited to editing, brand, partnerships, sales, and production
- Ability to write and execute effective creative briefs to support editorial plans
- Be able to conduct analysis and present it to cross-functional teams in a digestible format
Qualifications
- You have 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Proven ability to scale short-form video platforms (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts).
- You must be highly proficient in social platforms, bonus if you have experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, and Video Editing
- You must have a strong background in social storytelling through visual and video assets
- You should have experience packaging content for various social platforms
- You can get direction and learn from your teammates but also take the initiative to tackle different challenges

- You must have a keen eye for aesthetics and detail
- You can manage your time and meet deadlines

What You’ll Do:
- Manage the social media editorial calendar and all planning processes associated with delivering upon the Integrated Marketing calendar and business objectives for Wondermind.
