As a member of the Software Product team, you’ll take charge of integrating and validating complex system features from end to end. Collaboration is key, and you’ll closely work with Software Architecture, Firmware, Kernel, Hardware Platform teams, and other partner teams to ensure feature readiness for Program Milestones. In this cross-functional role, you’ll collaborate with many component engineers to understand, test, and debug system-level interactions. From the initial product bring-up to commercialization, you’ll serve as the front-end interface, providing technical support to customers and partners.

$133,000 to $194,000

Responsibilities
- Collect Board Support Package (BSP) requirements from the Product and Silicon Validation hardware teams.
- Tailor and merge BSP software, including ROMs, bootloaders, device drivers, Recovery Time Objective, and RTOS’s drivers, onto various platforms.
- Initiate the implementation of BSP software on both emulation and hardware platforms to aid Silicon Validation hardware initiatives and facilitate silicon enablement in the product.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams at every stage of the development process.
- Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on both emulation and hardware platforms.
Minimum Qualifications
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in software development using one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- A minimum of 2 years of practical experience working with data structures or algorithms.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in debugging embedded systems and a track record in testing and launching software products on embedded devices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Proficient in software debugging, particularly adept at addressing technical challenges that span the interface between hardware and software.
